class=\"post-career-layout-bot\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"career-post-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\n<p>The CTS EX90 is a result of a successful project between Eker Design and the Tandberg development team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eker Design had the complete responsibility of the mechanical design \u2013 from the first sketch design models to the engineering \u2013 including the following disciplines;<\/strong><br>\u2013 Mechanical engineering project leadership<br>\u2013 3D construction on all parts and the complete assemblies<br>\u2013 Tool and part \u2013 management<br>\u2013 Thermal development, including physical testing and CFD simulations<br>\u2013 Supplier search and supplier handling<br>\u2013 Mechanical prototype production and assemling<br><strong>Eker Design also provided documentation and preproduction which included:<\/strong><br>\u2013 2D documentation for all technical parts<br>\u2013 Work instructions and exploded part overview assemblies<br>\u2013 Assembly line jigs and fixtures<br>\u2013 On site personnel assembly training<br>\u2013 Logistics and packaging<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eker Design using the right tools<\/strong><br>During the whole product development process, we used Cisco TelePresence system in the project meetings with the Cisco team at Lysaker. Due to the fact that the TelePresence systems worked as a perfect communications and collaboration tool, we had less frequent in-person meetings than usual during the 1,5 years development time.
