The Hydrolift P-42 patrol boat was awarded with a \u201ctop-100\u201d price for its Design- and Development process. The transport isolator EpiShuttle for EpiGuard took it all the way to the podium with a silver medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Design Intelligence Awards (DIA)<br><\/strong>DIA is an international price award arranged by China Academy of Art to honor industrial design excellence on a global scale. DIA invites designers who have put themselves on the international design map to participate the award show. For 2017, DIA received submissions from more than 4.000 designers from 46 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\"><strong>Glory and price money<br><\/strong>At the ceremony a total of 78 bronze, 8 Silver and 2 gold statues were delivered to the designers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2017 jury consisted of highly recognized design leaders and leading personalities in the worldwide design community. Dr. Mugendi M\u00b4Rithaa, the president of WDO (World Design Organization) was also selected to be a part of the grand jury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The taste of gold.<br><\/strong>\u201cMy mind was obviously set on the top spot and gold award, but both our nominated products are niche \u2013 compared to most of the other entries, which are targeted towards the commercial market\u201d Eker explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final round of the ceremony was executed as an impressive show where the competitors had to defend their candidature on stage, and in front of the juries, audience and live-cameras.
